Welcome to the NEW American Fired Arts Alliance site. We're in the process of finalizing the pages and plan to add many new features. If you are a member of the AFAA and registered to log in on the old site, you will need to set up a new password and username along the right side. Old passwords will not automatically work. The American Fired Arts Alliance (AFAA) is a nonprofit organization formed by a group of artists and shop owners in Wisconsin to help increase awareness of fired arts through educational programs. What began as a small state group soon grew into an international organization. The AFAA welcomes new members from all areas of fired arts. Some members work with ceramics or porcelain dolls while others focus on glass or other aspects of the art. The goal of the organization is to unite all artists, studio owners and manufacturers to share talents and experiences with each other while drawing new people into the fired arts. The AFAA sponsors a number of educational events around the country giving members and non-members the opportunity to learn some of the best techniques from top instructors. These fun-filled programs offer something for everyone from the beginner to advanced artist. Upcoming events are listed to below. Most events also host a positive face-to-face competition where individuals can learn from knowledgeable judges who will help them become better at the craft.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you will take a look at everything the AFAA has to offer and consider joining or participating in an upcoming educational event. |
